My Burberry: KATE & CARA PUT A SPELL

Burberry launched the campaign for it’s new fragrance – My Burberry, which stars fashion legend Kate Moss and the amazing Cara Delevingne dancing topless with their classic Burberry trench on the sounds of Jeff Beck’s rendition of I Put A Spell On You, featuring Joss Stone.

“For me it was so amazing to work with Kate, this was my first time. Although I’ve known her for a while I’ve never seen her at work,” Delevingne told us. “On set she is just amazing and even more magnetic, everybody watched her.”

“I was so excited when I heard I would be shooting with Cara – I had met her a few times, but never worked with her, so I knew we were going to have a brilliant time, and have a real laugh on set,” Moss said. “It was such a simple and natural shoot; it was just Cara, me and our trench coats, and it meant we were really able to just relax and have fun on the day – it was a perfect day!”

The fragrance is inspired by Burberry’s iconic Trench Coat, developed with perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, who was behind the fragrances of Jean-Paul Gaultier Le Mâle, Carven Le Parfum and Giorgio Armani Mania.

The perfume literally is influenced by design from the classic Burberry trench. The fluid is of the same hue as the honey tone of the classic Burberry trench, the bottle is topped with a button-like horn cap and hand-tied gabardine bow, made from the same fabric as the coat and woven at Burberry’s factory in Castleford, Yorkshire. There will be a capsule collection of clothing and accessories, in line with the strategy for the Burberry Brit fragrances launched last year.

Top notes: Sweet pea and bergamot are tempered by a geranium, golden quince and freesia heart
Base notes: Patchouli, damask and centifolia roses

“The flowery aspect of the perfume comes from that idea of the garden after the rain. You have the lush wetness. You have the soil. You have the earthiness. All of these feelings,” Kurkdjian stated. “[The inspiration is] London, an urban garden. You have the vibrancy of the city, so it is something contemporary. You have the garden. You have the flowers… and the art of gardening, which is very important for the British.”

You can purchase the perfume and literally make it yours my having your initials imprinted on it. Like mine here:
